I've never played an Outlander. What are the do's and don'ts of an Outlander? Do the same rules apply for both good and evil alike?
-You don't use coins, adamantite items or items with gray taint flag.
-You spend most of your time in the wilderness.
-Same basic rules apply for all outlanders. However, Outlander is cabal where people follow those rules out of their own will and not because someone has set rules. Some consider it a blunder to say that there are any rules. The challenge is that you need to justify it to yourself. The outcome of this is that every Outlander gives you a different answer when you ask what being an Outlander is about.
All I know is that you need to kill certain races and classes, Scions, Tribbies and Imperials. Oh, and always have a flag. What else?
-A flag is not necessary. It is just a negative side effect of being enemies with Tribunals. You should not get flagged just for getting flagged unless your character thinks there is a good reason for doing so.
-Basically, Outlanders love freedom and hate orderly societies, as they feel that the order binds people to a slavery of sorts. They also tend to respect nature as civilization is ran by those orderly societies while a lifesityle closer to nature is more free and more to their liking. Like said before, every Outlander will give you a different answer, so it is hard to put a general guidelines.
