As for realism...sure, it's not realistic for someone to be distracted while asleep. It's also not realistic for them to be frozen in place for two hours by a thief waving his hands around and making faces at them.

In its present state I *might* still take it as a thug in order to get some of the stealing done pre-blackjack, in order to give me more time to recite scrolls once they're knocked out.
