I remember when CF was running on two different servers. You had the "real" server at maple.can.net:9999, and the "test" server at thera.icsi.net:9999. This was in 1996 or 1997. On the test server, you created a character, immediately were given 40 levels, and a mediocre "outfit" set. You'd run to your guild, practice whatever was necessary (Read: Crushing Hand, Hellfire, Holy Word, Assassinate, Backstab&DoubleBackstab, etc) then just have a Galadon bloodbath. The few people who actually went out and got level 41+ were ridiculed by the rest of the populace. Market Square was a corpse-pile. Nobody took the time to write descriptions. FUN!!!
