Distort and sleep don't either. The straight damage ones do. I don't think Battaglia's intimidation effect worked either, and likewise flourish. Can't think of anything else in particular that didn't work.

Some of this might vary depending on the mob but those seemed to be fairly consistent across the undead I fought.
