Regear is going to be different for each class (to an extent) and definitely different by alignment.

Do you want to PK or just have easy ranking and go to a bunch of areas? Healer's not a bad choice. Especially since (if you pick the right imm) it gives you an opportunity to get some RP mojo going, which you might find enjoyable.
