honestly the best maledict is the -dam effect on foes. You stack up 4 or 5 of those and that is like having aura and shield (around -3 or -5 dam a hit times 4 is 12 to 20 less dam top not too many people have a dam roll over 60 to begin with)
I mean sure you can nickle or dime on the -1 dex or -1 int but the real value is in dropping their damage output.
