As for your idea I more dislike it than like. One of the reasons I love healers/shamans/pickpockets and to some degree mages so much is that you do not have to spend half of your playtime running all around Thera getting preps. Or, if we speak about mages, you always know - you will get your sleeks there.

Warriors, for example, need not only aura, shield, sanctuary but many many more other preps and this makes it quite boring. So your idea will increase the amount of time I have to waste on gathering preps. Every login I have to run around gathering a/b/s (if I did not find my sleeks) from the scratch. Bleh!
