here it goes

I only remember one player in history that did it,

ChaosTryxx if i'm not mistaken, and he got smoked like a cuban cigar on 4/20

The Cons:
Too small to distance anyone, this was before the pikemans valor edge, but you will still not get much out of the skill.....
It is a defensive spec and you just lost the defense aspect.

- Having to enlarge to distance worth anything removes the ability to avoid bashing

Pro..... dude there aren't many pro's to this.
Your str should carry plenty of polearms
Since you enlarge, you can actually bash as a svirfneblin, maybe?

You got better int than most of the useful polearm users have, and wisdom to back it.
Svirfneblin got a decent aresenal of legacies that work well, and it might be done
well if you really applied yourself

---On a side note, I remember seeing an elf and dark elf polearm spec working decently, if you know the light polearms they can make it work, easier than a svirfneblin I think; dexy things seem to do better these days.
Dont' do it dude.

I thought distance improvement goes both ways with size difference, bigger _or_ smaller than human size.... am I wrong? nt

On another note, does anyone remember the gnome mace rager that was actually a badass. I recall one of his logs entitled "ball to the wall". nt
