It's super easy once you get the hang of it. And since it's the most used client for CF if you have questions you can post on the script board for help.

MUSHClient is free and I've been using it for MUD/MUSH/MUX/etc for years nt

It is also easy to use as it has GUI for making triggers/aliases etc.
