Just like the basics of CF, the basics of a language are easy, but you need to actually work on learning them and most people aren't motivated to.
Just like mastering CF, mastering a language takes a lot of time and there is no way to circumvent the timesink. And many people don't like that.

I get it. Text is outdated. But I really think CF is a unique game in the world with its enforced RP, player killing, limited items, looting and age death/con death. There has to be others who will be drawn to this niche, notwithstanding TEXT only. (n/t)
