Sure it will always benefit, but its wasted on low dex char imo. Giants need only focus on +str gear which makes it a lot easier to protect against maladictions.

IMO I reckon go something you can see in action. My first ever hero was a Storm Giant, and did the whole evaluate your range thing. Took the svs legacy and never noticed it do anything (I'm sure it did, but being so noob I still had my face owned by mages).

Something like crashing, whispers, bash legacy, incardine, etc.
