They only take damage and die when someone is actually in the area, AFAIK. ~

daurwyn(VIP) September 13, 2011 09:45AM

Yeah I'm playing a non-"locate object" class right now and I really miss it for PKing :( (n/t)

daurwyn(VIP) September 14, 2011 12:33PM

How's that? I thought if someone was carrying something it only shows the person's name, not location (n/t)

Matrik September 14, 2011 01:04PM

He's just saying to infer. tender leg of lamb is from hamsah, etc. People usually stock up in their hometown.

Jib September 14, 2011 01:28PM

Oh I see, that makes damned good sense heh. (n/t)

Re: diseased corpses

Jib September 13, 2011 10:16AM

Pretty sure it doesn't happen if the area is empty.

_Magus_ September 13, 2011 11:18AM

Can't imagine it being otherwise. (n/t)

Nightchild September 13, 2011 12:47PM

I dunno, I just figured that the mobile update routine would get called for the area whether or not anyone was there and those guys still did their dying thing regardless..

Jib September 13, 2011 12:53PM

Game economy

Nightchild September 13, 2011 12:57PM

I dunno, mobs angry with you sure stay for a long time., (n/t)

Matrik September 13, 2011 01:11PM

Plus, there is a mob that picks something up off the ground that spawns at him. Always has like 40 of them.

Matrik September 13, 2011 01:15PM

Well, I'd have to see the code to comment on that. How about I IMP

Nightchild September 13, 2011 01:17PM

You have my vote! IMP AWAY. I don't know either, just offering some info. I definitely see the argument for it being good design to work like you suggest. (n/t)

The Faithful of Nazmorghul September 13, 2011 08:48AM

To be honest

daurwyn(VIP) September 13, 2011 08:42AM

There are people, quite a few actually, who intentionally blow off conjurers and necromancers in particular, as well as most thieves, unless all other options are exhausted. (n/t)

Scrimbul September 13, 2011 12:27PM

conjies are such nasty power ranking partners though, why blow them off? (n/t)

Quas September 14, 2011 07:11AM

I used to blow off thieves because I didn't trust them not to rob me

daurwyn(VIP) September 13, 2011 03:02PM

Yeah, I find that lame as hell too. If I'm going to rank, I try to find the outsiders like that as often as I can. Just to help em out a bit. (n/t)

Matrik September 13, 2011 12:31PM

Great post, thank you... 1 thing and 1 question

secondager September 13, 2011 08:41AM
