I've had like 4 people rage delete to my lowbies.

I have a bad habit of training everything to near perfection, and doing it in as few ranks as possible (parry, dodge (if high dex), axe, mace and sword before level 17 on low int chars).

I then get attacked by (or sometimes I attack) well geared lowbies, kill them, loot most of their stuff (leaving mine in its place) and they rage delete.

I hope I'm not considered one of these "griefers", but if you die to me with full midnight dragon gear, 50 gold, a prep bag and another assorted goodies pre-level 20 don't expect me to not take it if I can use it. It is a HUGE leg up at that rank.

It really ruins my desire to start a new character...

From the guy who killed you.

MorsGotha2 September 21, 2011 10:50AM

*whiney

(vಠ_ಠ)> AngryFatKid September 22, 2011 12:32PM

I answered.

MorsGotha2 September 22, 2011 12:40PM

You didn't answer.

(vಠ_ಠ)> AngryFatKid September 22, 2011 01:25PM

He doesn't really need to tell you his reason.

Java September 22, 2011 01:33PM

Am I the only one who gets what he's saying?

daurwyn(VIP) September 23, 2011 06:01AM

You don't have to drop link to be near the mist wraiths when you log in.

Matrik September 23, 2011 06:13AM

You do to be as near as I mean

daurwyn(VIP) September 24, 2011 07:52PM

True, but I wouldn't assume someone who focuses on RP and isn't great at pk is all that aware. (n/t)

Matrik September 24, 2011 10:16PM

"The situation reeked of asshattery"

Matrik September 22, 2011 01:32PM

They smell strangely similar... (n/t)

(vಠ_ಠ)> AngryFatKid September 22, 2011 08:20PM

Haha! (n/t)

funnyone September 21, 2011 04:48PM

PS, Dont return to wraith spamming when you know people know you are there. This is a PSA from Captain Obvious-Unless-You-Are-An-Idiot. (n/t)

MorsGotha2 September 21, 2011 10:54AM

What do you mean by griefer? Someone who kills you once per log in? (n/t)

NiceGuy September 20, 2011 07:35PM

Makes the game a negative experience.

vortexmagus September 21, 2011 01:56AM

Re: Makes the game a negative experience.

MorsGotha2 September 21, 2011 11:25AM

I felt that way about a lot of Lyristeon's followers, especially the tatted ones.

vladamir September 21, 2011 07:25AM

His followers weren't griefers, but some were really good pkers.

Frosty September 22, 2011 11:25AM

You do get rewarded for griefing though

daurwyn(VIP) September 23, 2011 08:29AM

You wonder why imms support this kind of behavior? Really? That is kind of a dick and I'm guessing he was out of range (n/t)

funnyone September 21, 2011 05:42AM

Misinfo

Rogue September 21, 2011 04:22AM

So, where's the log? nt

Rogue September 21, 2011 03:15PM

You seem to be under the impression that this is perfectly ok

vortexmagus September 21, 2011 09:24AM

The first one would get you denied, and the second one would get you booted. (n/t)

Jib September 21, 2011 09:31AM

All of them fully justified by RP. And the second one can't be booted from any cabal, anyway, since he didn't join one. (n/t)

vortexmagus September 21, 2011 11:17AM

Nope, wrong again bub.

alansmithee September 21, 2011 11:27AM

And the first one would be ROTD for irrelevant rules violation, not RP problem. He'd RP perfectly fine. (n/t)

vortexmagus September 21, 2011 11:46AM

When you understand English better, come back. You created a scenario. It was a rules violation and thus he'd be banned. So, you're wrong. His rp broke the rules. Hence... rotd for rp. Bye! (n/t)

alansmithee September 21, 2011 11:47AM

Wrong again. He'd just get tatted by Lyristeon. (n/t)

vortexmagus September 21, 2011 11:45AM

Go ask. We all know I'm right and you're just bitter. (n/t)

alansmithee September 21, 2011 11:47AM

Being a huge cockbag can be justified as RP, but it's usully just the assholes personality bleeding through. Also it is not good for the game. (n/t)

ORB September 21, 2011 08:07AM

If only you as a player were able to somehow control your character's rp. It's so unfair that you're forced against your will to play a character that goes out of their way to make things as miserable as possible for everyone else.~

ibuki September 21, 2011 07:01AM

You don't understand the concept of rp, obviously.

alansmithee September 21, 2011 08:32AM

Crap logic

daurwyn(VIP) September 21, 2011 10:03AM

Cosign. (n/t)

ORB September 21, 2011 10:41AM

You're right, but chosing an RP that forces you to grief people

Nightchild September 21, 2011 09:18AM

Nothing you wrote here makes sense. And an extra bonus: the functional definition of griefing.

alansmithee September 21, 2011 09:36AM

Only because you chose to read a lot into what little I said

Nightchild September 21, 2011 11:51AM

This whole thread isn't about just you.

DurNominator(VIP) September 21, 2011 06:06PM

Right, it's about my character. nt

Rogue September 21, 2011 06:42PM

The post you responded to was about whether a hero fulling level 11 that dies to another level 11 is griefing.

DurNominator(VIP) September 21, 2011 06:53PM

Hey dumbass, try reading before posting.

Rogue September 22, 2011 02:45AM

Let's review that statement

DurNominator(VIP) September 22, 2011 09:19AM

Much like the "Burden of Proof" here at QHCF:

Matrik September 22, 2011 09:36AM

BOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO (n/t)

Matrik September 22, 2011 06:14AM

I will never understand you people. nt

Rogue September 22, 2011 07:38AM

I wouldn't bother trying. (n/t)

Matrik September 22, 2011 08:30AM

Ok, under those circumstances, sure, that guy's being a dick. But that's very rare, and not really what was being discussed or described as common play. (n/t)

alansmithee September 21, 2011 10:49AM

Seconded.

DurNominator(VIP) September 21, 2011 10:17AM

That's a great take on it.

zannon September 21, 2011 11:13AM

You're absolutely right. All true roleplayers multikill their enemies as they regear from the full sacrifice that you did the first time they died.~

ibuki September 21, 2011 09:03AM

Wow, it's true, sometimes the sky is blue in Kansas.

alansmithee September 21, 2011 09:20AM

I'm with Graatch here. Even though he's an idiot about iron vulns. nt

Isildur(VIP) September 21, 2011 10:42AM

Me too on this bit

daurwyn(VIP) September 21, 2011 10:27PM

You're just retarded, Graatch.

vortexmagus September 21, 2011 09:48AM

The same reasoning that justifies griefing out of range characters you find leveling should lead to you being even meaner to any enemy in your range.

ibuki September 21, 2011 09:48AM

He didn't say you SHOULD do these things, he said you souldn't be a bitch when it gets done to you. (n/t)

Matrik September 21, 2011 10:45AM

+1 (n/t)

Artificial September 21, 2011 08:57AM

I think the plague part was funny but full sacing? That was before my time but you seem to enjoy taking the "fun" away from others. To each his own. (n/t)

funnyone September 21, 2011 05:45AM

I mean someone who blatantly quits to not show up on "who pk" because they know you're trying to go to a certain place

(vಠ_ಠ)> AngryFatKid September 20, 2011 09:22PM

Hey, kid, figure it out and go some place it cannot go. Don't send up whiny prays about someone handing you your ass. It's not like shappa's healer is continually attacking you each hour. Kill the guy or find someone to do it (n/t)

funnyone September 21, 2011 05:47AM

Lol, whiny prays says the Spineless Blowhard. (n/t)

TripHitNdip September 21, 2011 07:19AM

Whiney prays would only have been known about...

(vಠ_ಠ)> AngryFatKid September 22, 2011 12:34PM

Sounds more like they went to go take a dump and came back. (n/t)

ORB September 21, 2011 04:23AM

I agree. Sometimes you gotta go. (n/t)

superisisman September 21, 2011 06:47AM

I did need to go, though I could have not had a cigarette, but that is irrelevent. (n/t)

MorsGotha2 September 21, 2011 11:26AM

I've had like 4 people rage delete to my lowbies.

Kez September 20, 2011 02:12PM

You are the one he speaks of. Thanks for not having the fat kid play a game when he doesn't bother to get better and learn the basics of killing said "griefers" (n/t)

funnyone September 20, 2011 03:27PM

I find lowbie griefers easy to avoid once you recongize them, it's the hero level ones that can be a bitch. (n/t)

ORB September 20, 2011 10:53AM

Outrank him or gank him until he goes into hiding

Nightchild September 20, 2011 10:53AM

This works. I spend a lot of time at lowbie levels and honestly griefers are usually trash pkers anyway. (n/t)

Matrik September 20, 2011 10:57AM

the only issue is the super agressive never sleep types (like wiril when he got assassinate)

Quas September 20, 2011 11:04AM

I actually agree with this a lot.

vortexmagus September 20, 2011 03:58PM

This coming from you is very hypocritical. (n/t)

funnyone September 20, 2011 03:22PM

my current char is like 3-4 months old and has not broken 100 hours

Quas September 20, 2011 03:32PM

No one can remove the ability to rank completely

daurwyn(VIP) September 20, 2011 11:10AM

If there is one that truly wants you dead he can make it annoying for you. But, if you are in a group of three then that is always it's own deterrent. (n/t)

funnyone September 20, 2011 03:31PM

safety in numbers, love how people leave themselves vulnerable more often in groups (n/t)

Quas September 20, 2011 03:36PM

yep

daurwyn(VIP) September 21, 2011 10:05AM

I really lose focus while ranking. It isnt because of the numbers, just the mindlessness of it (n/t)

Artificial September 21, 2011 09:04AM

That's the reason why the expression is ,"safety in numbers." if it's annoying you kill it over and over until he logs off and continually sacing all his shot (n/t)

funnyone September 21, 2011 05:50AM

you mad bro? (n/t)

Quas September 21, 2011 07:51AM

That turns into over-confidence a lot. As long as a ranking group has limitted perma-lag ability, I would attack them

ExPaladin(VIP) September 21, 2011 06:05AM

your statement is not always true

Quas September 20, 2011 11:13AM

Those outside of pincer Svirf villager would be weary to attack a ranking group. Three together learning can stop an ass from continually attacking. If he does level sit then they can go past his rank pretty quickly. (n/t)

funnyone September 20, 2011 03:34PM

Actually, some classes do better against groups

daurwyn(VIP) September 21, 2011 10:09AM

"Leery" or "Wary." "Weary" means tired. Pet peeve of mine. (n/t)
