Thinking of trying my first mage...need some help/suggestions.

No wand knowledge whatsoever, and was between a transmuter and conjurer, but I play on a basic setup with no triggers or aliases which would make a conjurer a pain. Its between Svirf or Arial for the transmuter but was leaning towards svirf. Any help or suggestions would be great.

Gnomes don't have many inherent enemies, but you'll get to fight ragers.

Transmuter is a bigger pain without aliases. Manually typing quicken, slow, soften, decalcify. etc etc etc. (n/t)

OG conjurer is like playing on auto-pilot once you hit 35.

What do u think about Arial vs Svirf for transmuter? (n/t)

Aussie1313 October 15, 2011 12:50PM

I don't like svirf trannie.

vortexmagus October 15, 2011 02:39PM

Elf/dark elf trannie picks are viable, I think, because autosneak is so powerful on trannies. (n/t)

vortexmagus October 15, 2011 02:40PM

That one point of int makes a lot of difference, too. (n/t)

My first trannie was a d-elf otulander... THAT was an exersice in patience... PAINFUL (Though a lot of fun.) (n/t)

Take human for no vulns or elf/dark-elf for sneak. (n/t)
