Evil have most of the dumb races so if I'm evil I typically rank on evil.

I wield obscure weapons first (polearm/staff/spear pre-dual wield), dual wield my fist with practice gauntlets and I almost always practice flails first as you can't dual wield them. Plus a high % in flail means you can usually eat face with the flails from Ysigrith early on.

NEVER practice the weapon you plan on speccing in. Get it to 80% and stop, you'll perfect it easy later in life.

Get all weapons to 90%, then axe, mace, dagger, h2h and sword to 100% (easily done by 25 - and its not that time consuming) and you have a mid rank powerhouse.

Also, learn focus parry is you're a Giant (it can be in the 90's by 17-18 with no practice), as a Duergar or the like, switch it up between dodge/parry. Sometimes if I know I'm going to spend a long, long time practicing weapons up, and that my defenses will perfect long before the weapons are done, I'll focus on h2h instead.
