Ragers the super-powers they once were and pretty much shitting on every mage out there. It is sooo fucking hard playing a mage without preps it's insane. Not to say it can't be done, but things like raid situations, and big brawls, and of course rager fighting make it near impossible. I get that there is a learning curve to this game, but seriously, It's not that hard! I didn't know one single wand spot about 4 years ago when I decided I was going to make my first mage. It didn't take 4 years, it took about 2 years and 3 mages (of course I can't do the whole 12 hour play sessions, so my numbers are a bit skewed) but about 500 combined in game hours and I had a wand list of 120 different locations. I haven't had a hero mage that hasn't found his or her barrier location, and I usually find the others if I'm willing to look. All you have to do is put in the effort, just like practicing skills or exploring or getting into a cabal or ANYTHING ELSE IN LIFE. That's all it is.
