You've got two crit-styled hits against your opponent in one move. If you wield axes their vuln to, which is really all that matter for an axe spec, you can ruin half of their HP just on initiation.
Then just rely on deathblow. If it fires at any point during the fight, you win.
If it doesn't, just pincer again.
If for some reason they are outdamaging you through DB/Pincer/resist/stoneskin - Then pull back. Heal up. Come back, repeat. RNG will go in your favor at one point.
Mixing in the huge natural dam resist from being a svirf villager, along with the damage output of an axe spec with deathblow, you really should have no problem.
If I can get over a hundred pks with it - ANYONE can.
You asked about other specs, and that's dandy - But none of them offer such a high damaging, lagging, initiation attack.
Consider again, at level 29, how much hp mages have.
Then add out the damage you're putting out in one pincer.
It makes sense that it works so well with such little effort.
And you really don't have to care about gear - You've got fucking DB, just pincer and wait for it.
