Re: Hmm, considering all the ranking areas that would be annoying.

Explorer/marshdweller is completely fine if you don't plan to PK. The build has excellent survivability for exploration and PvE if that's what you're looking for. Ranking is a breeze, especially if neutral for more group options. Ranking to hero completely alone is also a fine option, if slow at times (30-35 and 43+). For extra cool points, go evil Scarabite and do rank completely alone, hating all the other people, albeit you won't kill many. Pursuit w/o insects is meh.

Ranger as a return character

Being a serial felar ranger player, I can say that Explorer/Marshdweller is by far my favorite combination.

Is the Ranger Page on the wiki up-to-date?

Just wonder because Explorer/Swampdweller sounds really nice... (n/t)

Rodriguez April 26, 2012 12:01AM

You're going to have problems with camo/creep in the plains if you pick marshdweller. (n/t)

Hmm, considering all the ranking areas that would be annoying.

Exploring and easy ranking would be felar or giant, in my opinion.

vortexmagus April 25, 2012 10:36AM

Yeah, but you won't be human and what do we have if we lose our humanity?!

Matrik April 25, 2012 10:51AM

Explorer is really good.

tongni April 25, 2012 09:48AM

This. Explorer really is amazing. NT

How much better are the herbs? (n/t)

Rodriguez April 25, 2012 11:23PM

I'm not sure on #s

HairyOrangutan April 26, 2012 04:03AM

It's not 100% of the time, but close enough. Your wilderness type seems to constantly cycle between is-home and isn't home. Perhaps on a pulse basis? You can hit enter rapidly and see the different results though. Maybe it's ever action? (n/t)

Matrik April 26, 2012 07:27AM

I guess pulse, because you improve wanderlust just sleeping there, not doing anything. (n/t)

Felar beastmaster is pretty fun.
