Haste is the expensive one, if limited sources are not in. There are others like resist mental that are fairly expensive as well, 4-8gold per prep. That adds up, and it's not like you're guaranteed to only need one per fight. Some fights you will use a ton of preps which means a need for a ton of gold. I just don't see how the preps you can buy are better than the ones outlanders can find. It's not even close. There's some they get you can't buy anywhere and some you can't farm elsewhere at all. Also, the spells are higher level and harder to dispel.
