Dressing a conjie and other assumptions before a coffee.

Because a conjie , at least until getting archons, will probably be taking a few good shots, how do they typically dress? I don't think you can order all to tank for you like a druid can, so when you don't have your angelic slaves dam reducing and healing you like crazy, what do you typically do?

The FAQ on the left suggests in one case to 'dress like a warrior'. Or would you likely rather gear for super HP like a shifter? Deck out in earthen gear from the Manor etc. After thinking about the class a little bit, I imagine the late game likely involves two sets: your "summon" set of mana gear then you superman into your hp/whatever gear and start running. Yeah? No? Do I need coffee?

Thinking of biting the bullet and "investing" in knowledge and walking around with some servitors. A few helpful tips would be nice since I'm still very new and haven't busted the 30 barrier yet! Thanks.

I must be the odd man out. I say dam roll before level 22, then hp only to 45, then a mix of hp/svs/dmg.

Hp and nothing else. Archons arent for pk. You don't need saves since if they're trying to maledict you they're going to get creamed. Direct damage is a conjurer's worst enemy. (n/t)

You do know that saves help against direct damage spells too? (n/t)

I never had an issue against anyone using spells. My demon would always rape them faster than they could to me, especially if I'm spamming lag wands. (n/t)

This, but if you are going to buy time for your servitors to pull their AI heads out their ass, you need some (-30 unless you can get more with your HP gear, some paralysis and mental saves vs. bards and muters) against anyone with a/b/s (n/t)

HP is the way to go almost always, though as a solo explorer with an archon there are times you want to go high dam

But that's just it, I likely won't. ;)
