We were basically the only two people in the cabal you could legitimately be dependent on with no negative political repercussions but our best and most obvious chances for help were a newbie felar blade, a mediocre felar blade, a level sitting fire giant warrior who had no.business even playing the game caballed with as few hours he had a week, a level sitting imm char shaman, and a retarded loner dutch necro.

That means we had no spare healers, no elite blade barcs, shadow was useless against our particular type of opposition, terrible warrior builds and no competent, cooperative blacks. We also needed more methods of ignoring spell saves. Also Finley was garbage all around, unpleasant to deal with, not clever, treating Empire like Tribunal and too incompetent to survive hero.

I can do alot with a healer but if that healer hasn't learned alternate shield/resist positive preps to get around dispel, we're still boned against 2 overrewarded defiance paladins, 2 warriors, the occasional ranger and healers, with other vets intentionally and knowingly contributing to the bandwagon (Jalim, kanye) It's no real surprise Merf started ordering full loots.
