There's also an edge that directly counters it and from what I can tell it works somewhat similar to stalking. You gain X number of charges (with a max - which is the point where you do nothing but revel in how you can predict their every move) and those wear off much like stalks wear off - 1 ever 1-2 ticks. Mashing their int also helps.
If you fight someone with STSF and you wait 15 minutes, you'll get a clean fight again. Basically, you should plan on having them very close to dead within 12 rounds (if you need to flee via the flee command AND they have lash or cranial to trip lag you). If you cannot do that, you probably should not be fighting an STSF warrior.
To me, this isn't a big deal because that applies to most if not all dex builds...you want to beat them down on big hits (like flurry/pincer) - not on melee and you want the fight to end quick.
