  You find yourself standing in a spacious quadruple sewer junction beneath
the city of Galadon. Gray stones have been fitted together with a coarse
mortar to create large conduits of water and refuse that extend in the four
cardinal directions. The walls are coated with a slick layer of filth and
muck, and a disgusting soup of raw sewage spreads ankle-deep on the floor.
On one of the walls, some crude graffiti has been scratched into the stone.
Emerging from the refuse is a rusty, dilapidated iron ladder that extends
up to broad sewer access point above. The bustle and light of the city can
be heard and seen through the opening, but in all other directions lie a
thick, enveloping darkness.

A Tunnel in the Mountain 
  The dark brown stone of the walls shows the signs of half-hearted mining.
Though gouges in the stone take the shape of the larger metal veins the
mountain once contained, missed streaks of mithril still catch your eye.
Along the walls and across the floor, holes have been hacked into the 
natural stone between the remaining veins of mithril ore. The dirt and 
rock resulting from these odd holes is nowhere to be seen.
