This is why Sam says he would pick parry anything over a legacy

LogFiend 489 January 09, 2015 06:12AM

I guess my only real question is why would you flee to hurl

Raman 216 January 09, 2015 02:24PM

Because if you flee you can hurl twice in two rounds instead of twice in three rounds. n/t

jalim 164 January 09, 2015 02:26PM

Or, to put it in non-l33t speak, hurl is 1-round if you open with it, 2-rounds if you do it in combat. NT

Sam 169 January 09, 2015 02:36PM

A duergar rager complaining about a non-mage being OP. Something is so wrong there...

K-B 237 January 09, 2015 12:58PM

Don't think Serrkal is a duergar (n/t)

TJHuron 169 January 09, 2015 04:34PM

My bad. Thought it was Magner for some reason. My other points still stand. nt

K-B 166 January 09, 2015 07:40PM

What point is that? Imms have made numerous claims that edges don't play a major role in pk. Someone did the math below and parrying 20% of non passive attacks is huge difference gained from earning imm exp (n/t)

kanye 174 January 09, 2015 08:34PM

Lmao. Yeah, you can't take parry anything without imm exp. Herp Derp Derp (n/t)

Artificial 168 January 09, 2015 09:43PM

You don't read good do you? I said, parrying 20% of attacks is a huge boon for simply having earned imm exp. (n/t)

kanye 179 January 10, 2015 09:48AM

Except you don't need imm exp to get the edge so you're adding your retarded bias to your comment when it isnt warranted. (n/t)

Artificial 161 January 10, 2015 09:58AM

Your average player isn't going to get enough points with the current system to take this edge. Furthering the have/have-not divide. God forbid I said imm exp instead of general edge points. (n/t)

kanye 174 January 10, 2015 10:10AM

LOL. Really, I just laughed out loud.

Artificial 187 January 10, 2015 10:13AM

Pretty much it just makes it impossible for low investment characters to get edges. n/t

jalim 165 January 10, 2015 10:19AM

Is that bad?

wrathpuppet 184 January 10, 2015 10:25AM

and a sample size of 2 or 3 logs is enough to declare something op?

K-B 188 January 09, 2015 09:25PM

I think it's the player complaining.

FrostyTheGiant 265 January 09, 2015 09:41AM

Sweet, I was that Falcon (n/t)

kanye 166 January 09, 2015 10:27AM

haste is a component. sword + haste = great edge. just flee and wait the tick out. nt

The Forsaken 164 January 09, 2015 08:28AM

I am guessing it shines on sword specs

zannon 237 January 09, 2015 06:30AM

It parried 2 out of 4 in this fight...

Death_Claw 294 January 09, 2015 07:58AM

I see 4 of 6 in these two logs. Compare that with the logs Altariel himself posted down below. Way above 5% (n/t)

kanye 158 January 09, 2015 08:18AM

Also: level difference (n/t)

starbright 173 January 09, 2015 06:59AM

Can't say I disagree with Sam. It really shines on specs with high parry rates. (n/t)

crafteddeception 187 January 09, 2015 07:42AM

In the two retreival logs below parry anything blocked just under 23% of the attacks

TJHuron 184 January 09, 2015 08:17AM

Lies! Don't bring your math here. Nepenthe told us it's not as high as everyone thinks. (n/t)
