LOL. Really, I just laughed out loud.

1. PK

Characters receive edgepoints for PKWins based on:
- Total PKWins, regardless of level, at 10, 25, 50, 100, 150, and 200
kills. PKWins beyond 200 do not earn a character further edgepoints.
- PKWins by level tiers (11-25, 26-35, 36-41, 42-50, and 51) at 5, 10,
and 15 kills within that tier.
- Solo PKWins at 40 and 60 kills.

These are significant.

2. Experience (XP)

Characters receive edgepoints based on the amount of Commerce,
Exploration, Observation, and Immortal XP they gain.
- For every 1,000 Exploration XP (max 26,000).
- For reaching 5,000 Exploration XP before level 30.
- For every 3,000 Observation XP (max 31,000).
- For reaching 10,000 Observation XP before level 30.
- For every 1,000 Commerce XP (max 21,000).
- For every 1,000 Immortal XP (no maximum).
- For reaching 1,500 Role XP.

Those milestones werent removed.

3. Cabal Related

Characters receive edgepoints for meeting the the following cabal
milestones:
- 10, 25, 50, and 100 retrievals.
- Being made a leader (any position that can INDUCT) for the first time.

These are worth a TON. Retrievals give assloads of edge points.

4. Level / Age

Characters receive edgepoints upon hitting the following milestones:
- Reaching hero (level 51).
- Reaching old age.
- Reaching level 49 with an xp penalty of 100 or less.
- Reaching level 49 with an xp penalty of 300 or less.

Hit hero, you have enough for it. Sorry bro, your argument fails.

This is why Sam says he would pick parry anything over a legacy

LogFiend 494 January 09, 2015 06:12AM

I guess my only real question is why would you flee to hurl

Raman 217 January 09, 2015 02:24PM

Because if you flee you can hurl twice in two rounds instead of twice in three rounds. n/t

jalim 165 January 09, 2015 02:26PM

Or, to put it in non-l33t speak, hurl is 1-round if you open with it, 2-rounds if you do it in combat. NT

Sam 173 January 09, 2015 02:36PM

A duergar rager complaining about a non-mage being OP. Something is so wrong there...

K-B 238 January 09, 2015 12:58PM

Don't think Serrkal is a duergar (n/t)

TJHuron 173 January 09, 2015 04:34PM

My bad. Thought it was Magner for some reason. My other points still stand. nt

K-B 169 January 09, 2015 07:40PM

What point is that? Imms have made numerous claims that edges don't play a major role in pk. Someone did the math below and parrying 20% of non passive attacks is huge difference gained from earning imm exp (n/t)

kanye 176 January 09, 2015 08:34PM

Lmao. Yeah, you can't take parry anything without imm exp. Herp Derp Derp (n/t)

Artificial 170 January 09, 2015 09:43PM

You don't read good do you? I said, parrying 20% of attacks is a huge boon for simply having earned imm exp. (n/t)

kanye 181 January 10, 2015 09:48AM

Except you don't need imm exp to get the edge so you're adding your retarded bias to your comment when it isnt warranted. (n/t)

Artificial 164 January 10, 2015 09:58AM

Your average player isn't going to get enough points with the current system to take this edge. Furthering the have/have-not divide. God forbid I said imm exp instead of general edge points. (n/t)

kanye 175 January 10, 2015 10:10AM

LOL. Really, I just laughed out loud.

Artificial 188 January 10, 2015 10:13AM

Pretty much it just makes it impossible for low investment characters to get edges. n/t

jalim 167 January 10, 2015 10:19AM

Is that bad?

wrathpuppet 185 January 10, 2015 10:25AM

and a sample size of 2 or 3 logs is enough to declare something op?

K-B 189 January 09, 2015 09:25PM

I think it's the player complaining.

FrostyTheGiant 266 January 09, 2015 09:41AM

Sweet, I was that Falcon (n/t)

kanye 167 January 09, 2015 10:27AM

haste is a component. sword + haste = great edge. just flee and wait the tick out. nt

The Forsaken 167 January 09, 2015 08:28AM

I am guessing it shines on sword specs

zannon 241 January 09, 2015 06:30AM

It parried 2 out of 4 in this fight...

Death_Claw 299 January 09, 2015 07:58AM

I see 4 of 6 in these two logs. Compare that with the logs Altariel himself posted down below. Way above 5% (n/t)

kanye 162 January 09, 2015 08:18AM

Also: level difference (n/t)

starbright 174 January 09, 2015 06:59AM

Can't say I disagree with Sam. It really shines on specs with high parry rates. (n/t)

kanye 162 January 09, 2015 07:07AM

I had a character who landed 22 skills out of 98 on Ekaerok. nt

crafteddeception 189 January 09, 2015 07:42AM

In the two retreival logs below parry anything blocked just under 23% of the attacks

TJHuron 185 January 09, 2015 08:17AM

Lies! Don't bring your math here. Nepenthe told us it's not as high as everyone thinks. (n/t)
