Playing an "actual" or "accurate" evil character is horrible 99/100 as it drives ppl away and makes the atmosphere of Cf even more toxic than it can already be. Was it the right thing for an imperial? Absolutely if we were able to duo and all hefted shields and such. In a game the reason evil Rp is so hard to pull off is because the line you walk between playing a game as an evil dude and being a total shit is so slim. There are tonnes of examples of both & there are a few things that could I suppose make this the former not the later but we dont see this in the log. Based on the snippet we see its just griefing. I would be absolutely happy to see the muter wait until pk and then pay 10 gold or some such for the kill than this. It engages more ppl and forces a little Rp, rather than a little trick. The ooc mechanic of telling ppl there's gear(which would never happen if this weren't a game because everyone would be fulled as best as possible except for things too covered in blood to be useful) is something that will draw ppl from 40 down across the world with better than 50/50 success.
