Mostly I agree, but there are times where it puts a guard out nearly every round. When you win that RNG lottery and you don't have area damage it can make things really tough. That is depending on your build of course.

Maybe the executioner summons more as the guards take damage. I always felt like my bards doing area damage ended up with a lot more guards called.
