You wanted him to berserk against the wolf, then retreat? So you want him to stick around for 4 rounds, when he didn't have enough HP to survive 2? MAYBE that gives him enough HP to survive those extra rounds, and maybe retreat works.. but he's still got to get past the Lich and all the mobs in the way, while he's about as close to death as he can get, without the hsifter showing up (or any of those NPCs landing a hit or two).
Or did you want him to stop misdirecting the wolverine and berserk.. of course, that'd mean he'd eat another rake and probably lose that fight outright.
In other words.. what the hell are you suggesting he actually do to land the kill and also survive?
