He'd have to berserk while fighting the dire wolf. Which would have just barely given him enough HP to survive past the berserk lag. Then you want him to retreat? That's another round of lag which may have killed him outright.

Otherwise, sure. Maybe he gets past the dire wolf with a couple HP to spare. Then he has to get past the Lich. Retreat again? He probably doesn't have enough HP to survive a round fighting it. But even so, sure. Let's say he gets lucky and makes it past it.

Now he has to walk past a half dozen or so mobs - while thirsting - with almost zero HP. Ok, great. But he's being chased by the falcon.


Even if everything goes absolutely perfectly, he most likely dies while running away from a mage. From an RP-perspective, that is not a preferable outcome.

I know RP isn't exactly a comfortable topic for you, but it does matter to some people.
