Reading posts like this makes me question why I play the game.

The hypocrisy, in my opinion, is in your post and your views. You're saying that you want skilled opponents who don't blindly rush in. But if everyone played the way Rynranu does...there would barely be any fighting at all. Any fight that did happen would be over after a single round or two because they ran a quick guesstimation in their head and realized that there was a significant chance of failure so they got out immediately, or they arranged such an elaborate gankdown trap that their opponent never had any chance but to die. There's no 'skill' there. There's just hyper conservatism and prepping.

And that's before we even get into the RP dynamic of a cabal. Something that a character, in typical theory, believes so strongly in that they swear to live and die by its values. I can't stand people who don't defend against odds (obviously there's a point where it's just certain death, but not always...not even usually.) or who run and hit the other outer while their home that they're sworn to is getting torn to shreds by an enemy...where they could make a difference by defending.

Skill and exciting fights that, in my opinion, make the game fun come from taking significant risks. Rolling the dice and adapting on the fly to the events of the fight rather than just arranging the fight or only fighting when the odds aren't overwhelmingly in your favor. Think of how cool the Bellin and Grembolin logs were. Ragers with their back against the wall against 4-5 enemies. 9/10 times those fights end in Bellin or Grembolin 'blindly rushing it and being corpse delivery machines' by your logic. But that's part of the risk. When it works out it is fucking badass.

It's almost like you're envious and that someone besides you got a pk, and you're mad that people dare give someone who died props for taking a risk. There's so much to CF, and while winning PKs are a huge part of it, there's a lot of other parts too.

EDIT: This is not to say that playing conservative is bad. I just think it's silly to say that every other playstyle is stupid or suicidal.
