1 - But we know they have the head because Oth does have deathblows. So I'm not sure what you're point is here?
2 - I can't tell if you're being serious or really just throwing a dig at Jalim. If the former, that's wholly wrong, it absolutely was never allowed, and if so now, that's a significant change. There are a whole host of items that while not "magic" (by the way, unholy weapons are not magic, did you know?) are forbidden and if they are tolerated now I am amazed that there hasn't been an outcry. Perhaps because no one's actually doing it, or knows the good items. But I suspect that it's not changed (this guy is a maran so there's no evidence any rager ever used the symbol) and that even Jalim's characters would be prevented from using it.
3 - I'm not sure if we're talking opinion or fact here, but I was talking fact in that ragers, of any path, have been fighting charmies like that since the '90s, and it makes perfect sense. The mage gets a fight with one person. One on one. Everyone else is everyone else. If there's been a change, ok, but I don't see why you would and would that's a poor change. And note no one is counting the mob as equivalent. In fact that's the point and why the mage gets one on one. The other things are fit for destruction any way you want.
4 - Yup.
