Assassins...

April 15, 2008 05:57AM
I've had one certain assassin following my character around and trying (Succeeding once ) to assassinate me. Finally, he jumped me on the eastern and I tore him up. He vanished and got away though. Afterwards, he stalked me in Hamsah, saw him run out onto the Ocean when I started to suspect he was following me around.

He's hiding and using invis, so even when he steps out, I can't see him unless I munch a root and usually by that time its too late. Also, aren't they supposed to step out of the shadows when they assassinate? If so, invis is not dropping. If it isn't then they're fairely safe as I don't keep detect invis up constantly, especially when I'm in a place like the mous and have to worry more about where the zombies are and keeping my buddies safe.

Weaponbreaker is strength based. Use dirt+hook if you're an arial. Take Maelstrom to dirt+hook everyone :)

Str is a small factor, weapon weight, materials, skill%'s, Rank, type of weapon atempted on. ALL factors

You've seen the code? Sweet!

Jasmu 393 April 15, 2008 11:39AM

Ahh, my point exactly. Saying "oh its str based" is misleading.

Might disagree with weapon breaker.

The weight of your weapon and the material theirs is made of

Guy 384 April 15, 2008 01:00PM

I honestly think two-handed weapons are easier to break.

Sam 385 April 16, 2008 08:19AM

Yep. Iron weapons break so easily it seemed. nt
