Context.
Were they the same lvl? Were they similarly geared? was the elf hastened? How much weight was the giant wearing, causing his defenses to turn to shit once his str got maladicted?
How many of the elf's hits prior to the storm's loss of weapon were concealed strikes with high concealed %? if most, then the storm axe spec was out-tanking the elf dagger spec until he lost his weapon.
Also, it means no other dagger spec would have done so well, as elves/drow concealed far more than any other race. In that case, your post should be whining about elf/drow dagger specs, not dagger specs in general. Also in which case I fully do not agree with you.
Finally, elves have a spec that they are the best at amoung the races.
Are you saying you are not fine with elves/drow being best at concealed, but you are fine with the 25str giants putting out

With one command, flurry? There is a reason that "war;flur" with a certain legacy was soup de jour for so long. That was balanced when "war;flur" was the "I win" button, but now that elves/drow have something they are good at, it's not balanced?
What about their relative skill%'s?
Are there other logs of the same matchup going the other way?
What legacies were involved? What edges?
Would the storm have done better using his other spec? Is axes his second spec and therefore all 71/75's? What was his other spec? Did the storm have like 63% dagger? Did the elf have 100% axe?
Did the storm have 80's in defense as opposed to the elf's 100's?
What other preps could the elf have had that wouldn't show up on the log?
Did the storm giant have Influenza?
I see a log in which the storm only used one spec skill, that didn't maladict, and the elf used two maladicting skills.
Would the log have been different had the storm whirled first?
In short, know what the situation is, before making game balance statements.
I can think of more than a dozen or so reasons, off the top of my head, why this log would have shown exactly this way, without needing any weapon specs to be out of balance.
