Yea, Waris didn't take chances because he's an AP.
I know it's a lame distinction, but if I had a 100 charge weapon I wouldn't take as many chances. Of course, the one time I did I died to Batu and Jhuutr and lost my 100 charge whip due to stupid bashing (and casting excision on a return POTION instead of a wand :P).
Oh, and not to mention that I have seen him fight 2+ people by himself. He ate Villagers up like crazy. Given the amount of Scions that were around during that time, I'd ask him one day how many charges his weapon has, and the next day it went up by 8. That, to me, does tell me that he was a solo pker.
Also, the times when we were together were 90% raids...I can't imagine that he got his charges solely through ganking.
I did regularly have 1000+ hp. And I probably would've been much more scarier if I ever bothered to go full ABS. Seriously, what fun is that? I mean, I was on equal footing with many characters with just Aura or AS (dependingly). And yes, tiger is stupidly powerful. Camel/tiger/nightwalker is stupidly powerful also. I even remember a time a certain elf told me he won't fight me alone if I went camel and spit in his eyes. Thus, in those times we fought solo where it wasn't a raid, I'd try not to do that. I played for the challenge and the rewards, not just upping my pk ratio or getting kills.
As for thinking that Waris was an excellent character, yes, I did. Here's a list of a few reasons:
1) He was spot on in his RP via the Scion channel. He actively participated in interviewing new inductees (albeit with a harsh judgement)
2) He played the role of an advisor very well in my opinion
3) He was a force in Thera. I can't say the same for Sey. Waris' contribution, for all his shittalking and praying stupid shit to the imms, had a positive impact for most of Thera. I personally haven't been on the end of his verbal lashing, so I can't comment on that.
From all I get, Sey was an awesome outlander to other outlanders. If you read some of my previous posts, I thought she was rped very well from an enemy side. But that RP revolved greatly around 'nurturing' IE ganking.
