Isn't magic one thing that Nexuns DON'T want balanced, though?

All these arguments seem to be saying that Vanguard is designed to protect against whatever's in power, so Nexus can "fix" that. But Nexus don't go to war with other mages when magic is in power, do they?

Comparing the Veil to Dark/Light or Order/Chaos isn't a valid comparison, because Nexus doesn't look at them as the same thing.

*I've never played a Nexun. I could be completely wrong.
