Yeah, that means the -majority- of my post was in regards to distance. Specifically, the impact that skill percentage in distance has.
I stand by my statement. A svirf with 100% distance gets more use out of distance than a fire giant with distance at 75%. If both had 100%, you would see more distance as a fire giant. But ultimately, that doesn't mean that a fire giant tanks better than the svirf overall (which is useless information to the credibility of the actual post, and I'm OK with that, since it isn't even pertinent information to my point).
I made this statement because in the log, the person using the polearm gets hit what appears to be every round of combat. Obviously, a low percentage of distance is evident. I'm saying that a low percentage in distance will get you horrible results for being able to utilize distance.
It's similar to spin. If you have a low percentage in spin, you will not get much use out of it.
Thus, I have deduced that distance is based off of skill percentage more than any othe factor.
