The goal is to stay slowed with all the other buffs you want up, all of the time. And then when you want to fight, ideally, you just need to quicken+quicken+accelerate. Additionally, if you get jumped it's not as big of a deal because you're mostly ready.

Of course, it doesn't always work perfectly. Spiderhands is very short duration so you might not always keep that up, and control translucence is a bitch to sync with pass door because one or the other always falls first. Stuff like that.
