RBW powers aren't the end all of the game. An ABS shifter for instance can hand them their lunch depending on what their forms are. A conjurer can as well, a paladin can, et and so forth.
But if you are mirrored against an RBW, like lets say you're a warrior and they're a warrior - unless you're a giant sword spec or something that can win purely with permalag, you're fighting an uphill battle.
Example, I'm a dag spec and you're an RBW dag spec, you should win 99.99% of the time unless you're either really bad or you have really, really awful gear.
Deathblow - random chance to get 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x damage on an attack depending on level and whether or not you're a leader.
Resist - 33% dam redux.
Truesight - cures blindness, detects invis and magic.
Bloodthirst - Removes affects from maledictions while up, makes you auto-attack everything, grants haste, makes it impossible to tell your health, allows your spellbane to have a small chance of blocking area spells.
Spellbane - Prevents spells from landing (like an additional save) and allows you to "retaliate" with a few basic attacks.
Those are the powers. If you don't have those powers and you're otherwise very closely matched up, you're going to lose unless the dude AFKs in any 1vs1 where they are the same class as you.
PVP is all about understanding what your enemy can do to you and countering it. Dagger/mace is a malediction combo and elves dodge. Considering Bujoch has berserker powers *and* boneshatter, it's a very lopsided fight most of the time and you're basically counting on striking to flip things in Xilreith's favor. Considering at any point the RBW can drop a deathblow for half of Xilreith's health, that's much riskier for Xilreith than Bujoch. I'd say my assessment is pretty damn accurate.
