I just read this char's battlefield post on the officials. Wow. Destivius (sp?) sure is an ass and a RayBaer v2 in the making. Daev sure was being classic "let me twist the truth to make this seem like it was your fault" word-game guy. Arvam, I kind of still want to like you, but you keep making these long non-specific, high-spirited, inspiring posts...and don't seem to open your eyes to the actual funstick crushing going on all around you. I think you should consider going into politics.

The whole thing about not being in RayHippo's club is that your char is NOT going to have an easy path back. At best, you're going to waste HOURS playing a char in a sub-optimal situation. Now, if you want/like the heavy-RP challenge and to take a big hit in the PK department...go for it. However, most of us want to make that choice ourselves (flaws, RP choices, etc.)...not to be handed said "challenge" on someone else's terms as punishment. Don't try to twist stripping some shmuck of his powers by a non-cabal-imm who ALWAYS has a hard-on for fucking over people who PK team-fort as an 'opportunity'. That's just being some combination of a naive idiot and an asshole.

Useful recommendation: Take Rayhippo aside and forbid her from punishing other cabal's characters for RP infractions (OOC cheating, sure.) The combination of her cheerleading her own side while shitting on the other side is BRUTAL and killing your already damaged playerbase morale. In this situation, it wasn't even that she was the only imm on...as the "infraction" had happened the previous night...so why did she have to be the one to fuck over the char and yell at him? Why not wait longer to deal with his own patron imm or cabal imm?

Back to my rant...this is supposed to be fun. CF culture used to be pretty tolerant of imm-temper-tantrums that fucked over chars and then rewarded chars. We were all college kids playing 10 hours a day with a ton of interaction opportunities. Now most of us are older and those still playing are playing in a few precious hours of hobby time. If the CF staff doesn't realize stripping someone of their cabal POWER (Destivius's asshole move of calling his ONE useful power not all of his powers...whatever) and shitting on the character is going to cause deletion 90% of the time shows how out-of-touch they are and how great a job they're doing driving off their own players.
