Maybe D-ELF scion transmuters with full ABS, 600hp despoil, 15 edges and that staff are OP - but obviously that's a whole different thing. Stock transmuters are pretty well balanced. And I'm still kinda convinced if people just dodged you for a few hours you'd run out of mana and have all sorts of crap dropping in combat because of the different timer lengths.
