First Sek, now Odara.. I don't know why people give you a hard time. Odara was cool in my books. Sounds like you got a raw deal on the demotion. Destuvius can run Empire however he wants and that is one reason why I will never play one under him. The staff are clearly getting lax by allowing the likes of him to Immort let alone to take the reins of an entire cabal.
