That was after I had been busted for permaing the hell trip with my scion, and imms were watching me real carefully back then. There was a strong empire, and willing to go to hell every night, but it wasn't really a perma. Torak wasn't on those trips, it was mostly a mix of empire and tribunal I could find at the time. Twist's thief was one of the people on the trips, and he had a blast. Imms were watching that pretty carefully, I doubt they would have been let me slide with a hell perma right after being denied for one several months earlier. I think I sent emails to Daev and Scarabaeus as well, just in case they wanted to watch the trips or immteract. I just made sure to send out notes and let people know when it was going down, we had 2 or 3 good trip nights. One of the trips an imm came down and slaughtered half of a 15 man hell group. People can cry perma all they want, but if you people think I could coordinate or even know 15 people i could take on a hell trip ooc, you guys are crazy.

Now, when I was playing my scion healer Ishtavax, I absolutely rolled him at somebodies request to explore hell as a perma. Learned my lesson the first time. But yeah, it did happen once. I'm sure there are people out there doing the same thing right now. And hopefully those people get weeded out so the rest of us can have fun.


When people see people are making hell trips, they either

A) Roll an alt thats imperial
B)Roll a main thats imperial

Since no other cabal can really run it properly, its easy to know where to be for hell trips.

The second people start running trips, Empire gets fat. Can't really blame them because it's fun. I would do the same thing, I just did with my Dreadlord I just deleted and I could care less how fat Empire was when I rolled up, because I had a goal in mind.


I agree though, if Empire is as strong as people say it is right now, there needs to be some backstabbing going on before it becomes team evil.



EDITED TO ADD [forums.carrionfields.com] The thread of the character I rolled right before Omork, basically the same Empire. The trips had the imm stamp of approval, was just a strong, strong empire during Gvantualks rule.
