Demonfire does not just affect opposite align, it just affects them more. Inquisitor just makes it work better against same align. There are some evil mobs that are immune to demonfire however (demon mobs for instance). Evil PCs are not with or without the edge.

Auto attacking paladins is an awesome way to keep them from using light of heaven on you. They need someone else to keep you off of them to use it. Against a solo paladin, I can't remember a time I didn't just destroy them (at least make them run away quickly) if I had mors gravis (that's the one right) up since the shaman can still dispel them after combat is initiated.

I agree the demons on summon and extra effects on demonfire occur way to seldomly.

Acid blast isn't that great. You cannot use it in combat, so it is kinda just like an extra faerie fire, with decent damage.
