Even though it worked against me, on balance I still think imms should intervene. Maybe just not so quickly in situations where the intervention guarantees the negative result that the imm was punishing in the first place.

I just made one mistake with my elf paladin. And I didn't get a boot. Instead, they demoted me from Voralian to Hamsah I think. The provost told me later, that I was going to be promoted to Galadon the same minutes, had I not made that mistake.
