I rolled up Kobuk as a throwaway to experiment with mundunugu having played a shig-ru before because of this:
I had 0 role entries - while I feel that my RP was acceptable, it was no where near my 'finest'. I did get more IMM attention than I ever imagined, and I felt like I slighted them by not investing more in my character.
I didn't explore much of anything, and missed a lot of edge points I'd normally grab
Chieftain was 100% an after-thought..pretty much Charkag? or whoever the previous chief was deleted right about when I was picking an adaption - I raced to hero as a result just to see "what chief is like"
I didn't have the time that I feel that chief position deserves - Azhag is a real trooper, and a damn fine Orc also his playtime/commitment dwarfs mine. I wanted to pass the torch, and I also wanted to delete with the chief title :)
Mundunugu was really good in some aspects, but paled compared to a shig-ru in others. For example, assassins/monks gave me a really hard time wheras willbreaker ruins things like martial trance/intensify/crusade/certain other pally supps/etc. I found that my offensive capabilities were really lackluster (sometimes I'd SF for like a maim vs villagers - my shig-ru always hit caps)..
Gravesleep (healing sleep) was awesome for ridding myself of stacked nervs/kote/kanset/etc but it slowed me down a good bit.
Soot ritual was AWESOME. I actually picked 2 edges to compliment it (but noticed no real improvement of offense) the edges were:
Vital Strikes and Brutalizer of the handicapped.
I never once used fetish..or blood ritual
