Dark-elf dagger spec would literally die in 4 DEVASTATES with dual mithril swords flurry. Alternatively, get enough +str and doublethrust twice.

You cannot flee from giant basher, but giant basher can flee from you. That alone is incredibly powerful even if 9/10 times you get out-melee-ed by dex guy.
