Here's my thinking on swiftstrike - it's actually BEST with daggers because this way you have a good chance to return any time you defend a strike. And even though daggers don't parry well, you are definitely parrying a lot when you are a warrior no matter what your weapon is. You stack flow on top of it and all of the sudden you are returning unblockable damage in passive melee to rival an arial sword spec with seven winds.
But as to an elf build, I just don't like hour that much. I know it was very popular before I started playing CF, but I think it's a waste of a legacy in general. Not that it is BAD, it's just that it comes at the opportunity cost of one of Flow, Soul, Space, or even Riddle, Cry, or Whispers, all of which I think offer a lot more interesting options and modifications to your char. Let's face it - a dagger build usually wants those daggers out 24/7. On top of which exotics are often pretty heavy.
Now all that said, hand to hand for THROW IMMUNITY, daggers for owning, and hours for being great at ganking with wallop sounds like it could be useful. But I think i'd rather just go dagger/axes at that point, enjoy disembowel on top of pincer, and save my legacy pick for something else.
