Drillmasters are there for keeping villagers in line but a drillmaster shouldn't boot people.
Having had several drillmasters I never booted anyone with out having first discussed at length the whole idea with the commander. However I knew the commanders times at that point and held his inductions process as he did. This let lots of apps who didn't see a wink of time playing alongside the comander get a shot in. I have never had an imm or a commander I served under complain either, they always were happy that I was picking up unavoidable slack from the time points. Also As a commander I expected the same from my drillmasters captains and generals. it was better when there was more then just one other prism of the village. It lead to more role playing the parts filled in. Captain leading raids when the commander is not around, drillmaster making sure people are praticing leveling, keeping there wits and arms sharp, sparing with all villagers, trying to hold events and tests for the other villagers. The general dealing directly with war councel for the commander - strats for raiding ideas for ground improvements helping keep villagers in order in times of war. Also it gave selections for paths and leader positions so that those leaders could keep eyes over there own. Having a scout elf drillmaster bitching to a berserker firegiant about how to be a berserker just seems like imperial bullshit. Oh I am sect leader so I can anatheme a member of a different sect for not doing things the exact way I do them. Also I like the new mageslayer and veteran process more then having no tips on that aspect but I wish that Veterans were directly realted to the time spent trudging (though they are somtimes) more then having a shining moment with a imm eyeing you. Also as a commander that should be your part to sugest who has earned that rite at times.
At least thats how I feel hahah.
