The last time I played a good aligned Rager, if I saw a mage with two people I didn't consider enemies, I would put myself at a disadvantage and only try to fight the mage. I would actually inform the group I was there, I was coming in, and I was going to try to kill the mage.

I'm not saying everyone has to play that way, but for that character, the magic was the evil and there was no "guilty by association" unless you were a part of an organization at war with Battle. That's sorta how I view good alignment though: always looking to find the good in people and looking for opportunities to convert people (without being overly naive). Take the high road whenever possible, even though it isn't always easy.

Then again, this could be why I didn't play too many Goodies.
