I agree that evil should be evil but there ARE ways to accomplish the goal of being evil and RPing and even being a douche at it without 'consistently' taking away from the enjoyment of another player and maybe even enhancing it.
Its a game 'community' after all and people 'choose' to interact. Unlike a real life military dictator all you have over me as a player is within a game. I can quit anytime and either enjoy my real life or make a new character. This means that if you are starting to overly remind me of my supervisor at work and I cannot enjoy myself when you are around Im not going to play with you anymore. Im taking my ball and going home.
So playing an evil within a game community that relys partially on you not pissing folks off enough for them to just take their balls and go home or play elsewhere means treading a fine line between knowing when to lay it on and when to pull back. With me - Rawvos didnt know when to pull his dick out my ass.

And at this point it was accepteable still...I grinned and took it. He's just being 'evil' after all.
But going on and on about that piece of eq just ended it for me.
That plus all that came before told me he was going beyond just being 'evil'...he was being a 'douche'.
And for me what seperates good 'evil' RP and someone who takes evil as a license to be a douche is how they accomplish conveying their evilness without consistently ruining my fun. Its a really hard thing to RP because a truly evil person doesnt tend to have friends or allies which in a game like CF is hard to accomplish without a perma.
